Request for Proposal for Lawn Services
Greensboro Volunteer Fire Company, Inca, is seeking proposals from qualified lawn care professionals to perform lawn care and landscaping maintenance at its properties located at 116 North Main Street and 13781 Greensboro Road, Greensboro, MD 21639.
Scope of Work
Mowing: Contractor shall mow not bush hog the 10—12-acre lot located at 13781 greensboro road at least twice a month depending on adequate rainfall or scheduled events. The grass at 116 North Main Street consists of an area of approximately 40 feet by 80 feet located on the west side of the fire house and is to be mowed at least twice a month depending on rainfall.
Edging: Contractor shall edge sidewalks and ensure surfaces are blown free of clippings, dirt and debris immediately after mowing/edging.
Trimming/Spaying: Contractor shall trim /spray weeds and /or grass around all signs, lamp posts, storm ponds, fences, bleachers and any other obstructions to maintain a well -manicured appearance.
Bed Maintenance: The contractor shall provide maintenance of all stoned plant beds located at 13781 greensboro road, continuously throughout the contract period, being kept free and clear of all weeds,
Pruning: Contractor shall prune shrubs and trees as needed.
Contract Period
The contract period shall be from 1 April 2024 and end 31 March 2027.
Personnel and Equipment
The contractor shall designate, hire and dismiss the personnel and provide all equipment and supplies necessary for the performance of the contract.
Insurance and Licenses
The contractor shall maintain general liability insurance from an insurance company to cover bodily injury and/or property damage directly due to the negligence of the contractor, his agents or his employeese The contractor shall provide the company with copies of such insurance and also their license.
Proposal Information
Proposals will be received by Greensboro Volunteer Fire Company, Inc until 21 March 2024 at 4pm. Proposals may be submitted via mail or delivered in person. Company must receive all proposals PRIOR to the date and time specified. Any proposal received after the date and time specified shall NOT be considered for award and returned to the contractor.
