Working Fire In The 4-1 - 9 N. Maryland Ave.

At 2154 hours, units were dispatched to assist Station 400 on a house fire at 9 N. Maryland Ave. As units were responding, they were advised by Caroline that Ridgely PD was in the area with heavy smoke.

Chief 4 Went O/L and reported a two story house with a working fire on the Charlie side. Officer 416 established “Maryland Ave. Command.”

Engine 401 was assigned Fire Attack while Engine 604 was assigned to ladder the exterior of the house before being assigned to assist with fire attack and overhaul.

Crews operated on the scene for approximately one and a half hours before returning.
