Fire Prevention - Head Start
Wednesday, October 12, 2011
Today, members visited Head Start and talked to the students about fire safety. Asst. Chief Biddle talked to the students about what to do if they had a fire in their house. Topics reviewed were how to stop drop and roll, getting out of the house, meeting at a designated meeting location, and when to call 911. The students then got to see a firefighter in gear and the engine. Greensboro Police also attended, and Chief Jackson showed the students his police car and talked to them about calling 911.
