At 1713 hours units were dispatched to the area of 107 South Fifth Ave for a reported building fire. Officer 320(Higgs) went O/L and reported a working building fire with exposure problems. Due to high winds the fire started to spread rapidly. Officer 320 requested a second alarm reporting that a second structure was now involved. Within minutes Command requested a third alarm advising that the fire was spreading into a third building. Crews worked hard and held the fire to a total of 4 buildings. Units operated for approximately 3 hours and 40 minutes before clearing at 2056 hours. Officer 315(Makovsky) had "South Fifth Ave Command." Thanks to Queen Anne Station 7 Crumpton for standing by.
