Greensboro Vol. Fire Company

At 0242 hours GVFC, Stations 700 (Goldsboro), 400 (Ridgely) and Tower 310 (Denton) were dispatched to 12281 Kibler Road for a house fire. Chief 6 went O/L and reported a 2-story house with heavy fire on 2nd floor. Officer 615 (House) established "Kibler Road Command." Engine 603 arrived and made a quick defensive attack due to the heavy fire load. Due to the box being short, Command requested the box to be filled bringing Kent County Delaware stations 50 (Harrington) and 48 (Felton) to the scene. After aggressive defensive attack, crews made an interior attack and performed overhaul duties. Units operated for approx. 4 hours and 30 minutes before clearing the call at 0718 hours.
