City Runs 2nd Alarm In Denton - Bridge Street
Wednesday, February 7, 2007

At 0040 hours Stations 300 (Denton), 400 (Ridgely) and Talbot County Station 80 (Queen Anne-Hillsboro) were alerted to 10277 Bridge Street for a house fire. E-304 (Lt. Higgs) went O/L reporting fire through the roof and requested the 2nd alarm. At 0050 hours "The City" along with Talbot County Station 50 (Cordova) were dispatched to the scene. E-603 arrived and were assigned to assist the crew from Tower 310 with laddering the exterior of the structure. Tanker 606 was assigned to the water supply division as a nurse tanker. E-603's crew was then assigned to division 2 fire attack and to check for extention. Units operated for approx. 1 hour and 25 minutes before clearing the call at 0215 hours. Officer 317 (Porter) had "Bridge Street Command." Station 700 (Goldsboro) provided the transfer crew to cover our quarters during the call.
