Greensboro Vol. Fire Company

At approx 12:04 hrs on Saturday February 27th Station 700(Goldsboro), 600, and CCEMS units were dispatched for an MVC with reported entrapment. Command 700(Bartz) responded and arrived to find a single vehicle on its side with electric wires down on the vehicle and the patient still inside. Command requested an immediate response from the power company. Squad 702, Engine 703, Rescue 600, PM17, PM16, PM10 and MD1 all made the response. Due to the lines being down on the vehicle, the power company had to shut the power down off in the area before the patient could be extricated from the vehicle. Units operated for approx. 2hrs before the scene was turned over to MSP and the power company.
