At 0741 hours units were dispatched to 26463 Boyce Mill road for a building fire. Chief 6 went O/L and reported a single story 4 bay body shop with heavy fire showing. Officer 615(House) established "Boyce Mill Rd Command." The crew from Engine 603 started making a interior attack when it was determined by command the structure was unsafe and ordered a evacuation of the building. Tower 310 set up for master stream operations and command requested 3 additional tankers and 2 additional engines to the scene. The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Maryland State Fire Marshall's office. Units operated for 3 hours and 40 minutes before clearing the call.
