Course Description :
This is an all inclusive lecture only course. The course will take about 6 hours to complete. At the end of the class you will have everything needed to apply for your Utah permit. Fingerprints, passport type photo (you will receive 4 passport photos, one for Utah and 3 extra for other applications) and postage of your permit application are included. You will also receive a Certificate of Completion. This certificate can be used as proof of training as required for a Virginia concealed firearm permit. Extra copies will be provided upon request.
The Utah Concealed firearms permit is recognized by 31 states when held by a Maryland resident. The Utah permit is not valid in Maryland.
You will be required to pay a $49.00 fee to the state of Utah for your permit application in addition to the $100.00 class fee. The permit is valid for 5 years and renewal is only $15.00. No additional training is required.

We will also include a Maryland Handgun Qualification License (HQL) supplemental. This added section of the class will give our customers the required training needed to apply for the Maryland HQL. The live fire segment of the HQL training will be held on February 28, 2016 at Delmarva Sporting Clays range, Mardela Springs, MD. There is an additional $20 range fee paid at the range.
