At 1042 hours units were dispatched to the area of Castle Hall Road and Manspeaker Lane for a house fire. Officer 715 (Bartz) went on location reporting a vacant house with fire through the roof and established Manspeaker Lane Command. Due to the location of the house Engine 603 laid in 1000 foot of supply line to complete engine 702's lay before going to work assisting with a defensive attack. After the fire was knocked Command held the assignment to Station 700 Units Engine 603, Tanker 606, and Engine 56-1 for overhaul. Engine 603 and Tanker 606 cleared the call at 1502 hours.
