Members of “The City” conducted their monthly drill for February, training was on the Bullard T4 Thermal Imager and Draeger four gas monitor which is carried on both Engine 604 and 603.
The review is part of the companies’ annual review and check off skills.
After a brief operational review of the Thermal Imager and Gas monitors crews head out to conduct hands on search and rescue training.
The Building was filled smoke and crews conducted a search of the building. Some became entangled with our RIT prop and successfully called a MAYDAY and freed themselves.
Crews were then given the Thermal imager and searched the building and quickly located the victims inside. The crews did a great job communicating with each other during the training.
